Kettering Hospital Bariatric Unit?????

Has anyone had surgery at Kettering Hospital lately and stayed in the new Baraitric Unit? How was it? How were the nurses? Surgery in March and chose that hospital because of that. thanks, Alison

I was there in Nov. It's really nice. There are ceiling fans so you don't need to bring your own. There is a DVD player if you want to bring your own movies and such. Nice big bathrooms, and a shower chair also. Not to big of a unit. Be ready to do at least 10 laps around it. For me my nurses could have been better, but I had a student everyday that did most of my checking. I really like Kettering. Good Luck, Robin W

Thanks for the information...How are you doing? Who did your surgery? My surgeons is Dr. Bruce/Clarey. I am getting very nervous. Did a dietician come and see you in the hospital? Congratulations on your surgery. Thanks, ALison
