COPD

Hi all, My surgery is in 3 weeks and needless to say I'm nervous, excited, anxious and scared. My question: I have COPD, has anyone else had the surgery that has COPD? My main concern is breathing while coming out of anesthesia. I've had a pulmonary function test and approval to have the surgery from the pulmonoligst. Julie
