Micro pouch vs Lap????

Okay, the big thing in MI is the Micro Pouch procedure. Is it the big thing in OH too? I have questions to all you lap people out there--Time to Shine Guys 1--have you had heart burn problems? 2--have you had any problems with the suture(staple?) line in the stomach? 3--have you gained any weight? This decision is a real hard one for me. Thanks for any info!!! Marti

I had Lap.done in Sept.18,03 I am losing weight and had no problems.This is me...lap is no diff.than open but open is a much larger scar/I have a photo if you or any one else wants to see.Just my stomach 2 days after surgery.I only had to take pain med. for 5 days after I came home.
