PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME!!!

i need all the help i can get with medicaid of ohio.i live in galloway and my regular dr says i need to do all this paper work myself and that i need to see a surgen before i apply with medicaid.osu wont schedule me an appt until i am approved.there has to be a way i can do this.please anyone with any info at all please email me thanks so [email protected]

I know the rules for Medicaid are different and I'm not an expert by any means. I had my WLS at Mt Carmel with Mid Ohio Surgical Associates. There are three doctors in the practice that do WLS. Call Carrie at 614-228-0768 x125. She is their insurance coordinator. Carrie facilitates the insurance approval for most people directly. I do recall hearing that Medicaid may require you to pay up front, then they reimburse you. However, I'm sure that Carrie can validate that for you. Don't be alarmed about getting her voicemail. She is pretty good about returning phone calls.
