Trouble eating

Hello to everyone.I had lap RNY 4 weeks ago.The first couple of weeks after surgery I had no trouble with the liquid diet but for the last week or so I've had considerable pain when trying to eat things that preveously gave me no trouble.I called the surgeons office and they scheduled me for a scope to see if there is anything going on.Other than this my recovery has been going great.I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience.I sure hope this doesn't end up being a serious setback. You might be developing an ulcer. My DH had the same thing happen to him at four weeks out - started having pain, then was nauseated and dry heaving. The surgeon scoped him and found some debris and old blood. The surgeon cleared it away, found some bleeding and started my DH on Protonix and Carafate. He felt about 95% better right after the EGD. He was on both meds for a month and has had no problems since. Best to get checked out! Hopefully this is just a bump in the road! Sue
