Pressuring United Health Care EPO

I called United Health Care today and found out they did have my paperwork. I was very excited to hear that however when I asked how long it would take to review it they said they couldn't say. I was wondering if I should be calling everyday and if 'yes' what should I be saying to them. I really need an approval quickly because I need to have the surgery by the end of December in order to get paid time off at work. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks

I would give them a couple of days. Then I would call and ask for an update. If they have a website like Choicecare does then check it. I think there is a rule that I have heard that they only have 48 hrs to give a decision. I think one of the people in our support group said that. Post your question on our local board also.
