Is taking Antibiotics before surgery ok?

My surgery is August 28th. I got sick last week and my pcp gave me antibiotics. I'm sure i'll be well by surgery. I'm pretty much better now. But does anyone know if taking the meds will interfere? Thanks Aubrey

It shouldn't. Depends upon the antibiotic. You really need to ask a Dr. on this one. Or the pharmacy.
