Whoops, posted that last one too quick. Well, I have surgery August 28th. I am looking for suggestions on what I should take for comfort and entertainment. Will I get bored or will I just sleep the whole time? I thought about bringing a book or something. Anyways, anything I might need? Thanks Aubrey

ANgel flappin. I took a book but mostly watched TV and walked. If you have a walkman or something like a small radio use that. Don't bring anything expensive. I would call friends and talk to them. I was only in 4 days so I did not get bored. Once home I was bored. Take the time to rest also.

I was not bored Aubrey. Nor did I find too much time to do things. I brought a puzzle book and a hand held-solitare game. Didn't use either of them. The pain medicine makes it a little hard to concentrate sometimes. Don't be afraid to use the pain med or ask if you need it. If you hurt you won't want to walk or get around! Robe, slippers you can easily slip on and off without bending over and putting them on, and a personal fan (to cool off, not your support group!). Hospitals are usually very warm and I was way too hot 80% of the time. Good luck and we'll see you on the losing side. Amy
