Questions on Dr's!

I am researching dr's in the cincinnati area and I was wondering if anybody has used the Jewish Hospital Weight Managment Center?? If so how were they??? Also, has anybody used Dr. Derrick Martin in Dayton?? And what are your opinions on him?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! If you want you can email me at [email protected]

I went to Dr. Martin's seminar. My insurance is approved and I've had my appointment with my surgeon, Dr. Martin. I'm waiting for the pre-tests at Miami Valley Hospital. Then my surgery will be scheduled -- probably September.

My husband works with a woman who went through Jewish Hospital's Weight Management program. I think there are two surgeons that do RNY, but only do it open. Plus, this woman had to do 4 weeks of Optifast before surgery, (Very low calorie liquid diet). You could always call them and ask about the surgical program. Heather, if you haven't done so already, make sure UHC covers the surgery then find out what surgeons and hospitals are in your network.
