I just heard about a place that does plastic surgery for free so that they can keep the skin for burn victims. I have no idea what the name of it is, or what organization does it, but its sounds interesting. Has anyone heard about this?
It is a hoax. Our skin is no good for that. The only thing you might want to do is contact a teaching hospital and see if there is a reduced rate for having a student run surgery. I heard UC had that but I never have checked into it.
