Anyone go to Mexico for their surgery?

Between the insurance stalling and requirements being met, now the Dr that I was completing the required 6 mos. weight lose diet plan with since January just announced he wasn't renewing his contract with the hospital....so I am once again left in the cold. I am beginning to think I am not supposed to have the VSG. Investigating other options I heard of procedures being done in Mexico. Would like to hear from anyone with personal experience leaving the country, the good, bad and ugly.... Thanks so much in advance!!!
