LIQUIDS TILL 3WKS

iTS ONLY 5 DAYS POST-OP,ALREADY TIRED OF THE LIQUIDS AND FOLLOW UP NOT TILL APRIL5TH.(DUE TO DR. BEING ON VACATION)  
    Went out to the groc. store with hubby,could really feel it in my lungs(had problems with keeping sats up in hosp) but it did feel good. take care everyone

Good luck & hang in there.  I'm 6 weeks post op and feel completely normal again.

Did the doc tell you that you couldn't eat pureed food until after ther follow-up?  I was told 1-2 weeks on full liquids and then 1-2 weeks on pureed foods and then 1-2 weeks on soft foods.  And I was told to progress as I was able because everyone heals differently.  Not telling you to ignore doc orders, just to maybe double check that your understanding was their actual intent.

my doc dosn't do pureed foods go to soft foods and chew chew chew! I will keep you updated

Yeah, I was on pureed foods for 4 days when I said "Screw this!  I have fully functional teeth."  and started soft foods.
