Springfield - anyone interested in getting together for SUPPORT

Hi I'm 6 months RNY post-op.  I'm down 80 pound since surgery (40 pound pre-op).

I had surgery in Cincinnati.  Everything is great.  Except I really don't have a support group.  Great people here on OH but would like to start a group in/around the Springfield area.

If anyone would be interested let me know.

What kind of complications did you have after your surgery?

I didn't have any complications!

I was in the hospital 3 days/2 nights.  When they switched the pain meds around the evening on my surgery I had a very mild allergic reaction & started itching.  The Dr. called in a script for something & I was fine. 

I walked a little that 1st night & then walked the rest of the time I was there.

No problems once I got home.  I have had a few times I've gotten sick from eating too much or too fast.  White meat chicken if it is too dry or well done beef is not a friend of mine.  But those are learnings along the way.

That is good to know...it is one of my largest concerns next to defeating the emotional "hunger" that lives in my head.
