I'm shy too... but I have a .... oh wait... wrong venue... I mean
Don't be shy! Please :) Here's my schpeel...
ok here's the deal people. We're all either fat, or used to be fat, or recovering fatties.. whatever... the second you walk in that hotel you need to leave all your inhibitions behind. You are with family now. There is no one in that place who is going to judge you (unless of course you're that girl who's had way too much to drink and is puking her guts out in the potted plants wondering where her clothes are... we won't judge... we'll just point and laugh and talk **** about you behind your back.... but we'll be there to hold your hair back in the morning when you're praying to the porcelain goddess k?)
This is my first convention and my first time meeting most of you... and I see so many people say that they are shy. We've all been there. We've all been kicked for our looks. But guess what! We're all putting on our pants one leg at a time and getting on the same boat. Stand Tall and Proud knowing that we're all in this together. Let that inner socialite free... you know you want to
hrm... maybe those new meds really are working...
Make sure you say hi to me... you can't miss me... I'll be the 6'9" behemoth with sunglasses standing in front of MM protecting her from stalkers ;-)
