Not scheduled (YET)

I am new here. I have had my meeting with Dr. Curry and his staff, had my Psychiatric evaluation and now I am waiting for the PCP paper work, then we scheduel a date! I hope we can get the sugery on the books for August.

Best of luck in getting your surgery scheduled. I remember how emotion filled these days are for pre-op folks.

I have the EKG, the psych eval and the Dr/Dietian/Nurse all wrapped up. I have an appointment with my PCP for his release. I should get a call for scheduling this week! WoooHooo!!!

WooHoo! On the schedule for August 30th!!!! Nutrition calss on August 9th!! And the journey begins

Hi! Dr. Curry is my doctor, too. I just got my band on Monday. Dr. Curry and his staff are amazing! Good luck with the medifast, though- it will really try your stamina. I had a hard time, but lost 30 pounds on it the month pre op. Feel free to send me a private message and/or friend request if you want someone to talk to that knows the practice.

I am so stoked! I am ready to get this train to pull out of the station!  I do have questions about how I will handle all the changes after surgery. How will I act when I cannot eat like I used to? How will I react if and when I have a "stuck" moment? How to react to people whoask you if  you are sick? (scene it happen). I know I will have more questions and issues but I am so ready to go.

I just had my nutrition meeting. Whew! 6 hours of information in 3 hours! A lot of stuff to take in! I got my two week liver reducing diet and will start that on Monday. I am still so ready to get going! Forward ho
