Columbus Support Group?

I am having surgery in Dayton on Tue! (Feb 16 2010).

I would like to join a support group in columbus. Are there any out there that I can join? OSU? Riverside?

Fresh Start Bariatrics (Riverside) meets the third tuesday of each month. There are two groups, pre-op/early post op and the longer term post op.
I don't know if it is open to non patients, but you could always ask.

OSU has 2 a month.  The first wed of the month is general info, trading recipes, clothes, ect.  The meeting on the 4th wed, is more about the coping and phsychological side of weightloss.  There are people who have had surgery from all over at the meetings.

Barix Clinics in Groveport has one 3rd Saturday of the month at 9am.  Nutritionist always attends. Open to everyone.
