Approved and Surgery Date!

Well Im approved and have a surgery date of November 16th at 730am at Akron City in Arkon, Ohio. Im lil nervous already!

YAY!! Congrats!! Bev sent my paperwork for approval on the 29th so I'm hoping to find out a date sometime this week!!

I had to do the 6 month supervised diet with Dr. Wells and he told me that they were scheduling out 10-12 weeks which would get me a December surgery date. It looks like they scheduled you about 6 weeks out. I really hope I don't have to wait until December... I have to do 6 weeks of optifast and was hoping to have surgery the week before or after thanksgiving!

My surgery was approved actually on Sept 2nd. They just now gave me surgery date. I had to do one other thing after I got approved and that is why I had to wait. Good luck and keep me posted. I think they are on vacation the week of thanksgiving, but not totally sure because I couldnt get mine that week.

YAYAYAYAYAY!!!  It will be worth every frustrating minute!!  Glad you kept jumping thru the insurance hoops!

Congrats!  I just got approved and scheduled for Dec. 2nd with Dr. Z. I wanted to wait to be off work during christmas.  Unfortuantally, I will be starting my two week diet right before Thanksgiving.  But I keep telling myself I have had plenty of Thanksgivings, so we are going to keep the holidays very low-key.  Congrats and best of luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to be on preop starting next Sunday! So definately low key holiday feast for us too! I go to 4 hour class on October 26th whens ur scheduled? Good luck and im sure you will do fine!
