My spouse has been very supportive in the process of me getting approved for my WLS. However, now that it has been approved and I'm awaiting scheduling, she is starting to show some signs of insecurities. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this?

yes this is very common spouses are often afraid for many reasons

the health risk associated with the surgery, if they are overweight as well they wonder if you'll still find them attractive once you lose weight, when you lose weight your whole outlook will change spouses are often afraid of how that will effect your relationship.. i could go on and on.

I have had this problem my husband became very insecure and he is not an insecure person at all! or i should say he didnt used to be, i reassure him i love him and i am with him and i plan to grow old with him, communication is the best thing for this type of situation to help put your spouses concerns into perspective and help to understand them. good luck
