Deaconess-Cincinnati

Has anyone here had surgery at Deaconess or know anything about the latest rumor they are closing their doors? 
I have a friend who started the process and now she can't have her surgery.  Very sad day for her ..anyone else going through this?

Unfortunately,they did close their weight loss center.  I haven't heard they are closing.(I work there as well as am a WLS pt.)  . Ask her to contact me, I know of someone who may be able to help her get set up with another doctor.

How about having your friend contact Dr. Curry.  He is in Cincy.

I think the first place to check is with your insurance coverage for both doctor and hospital choices.

no, my. name is Pauline. I .am one of Dr. Rods patients and a RN at Deaconess.  They are having their support group this Wed.  Hmm this says I am writing this 12/31/69....go figure. :)

So, Pauline, when are the others getting together? Is it still open for others? Rhonda here (remember the VSGer with the two small latino kids?) I'm going to get my Wednesdays free by the end of summer and was hoping to start into the support groups again.

yes I do remember you. i am working with a couplpeople to get together. they are also trying to get together a on-line support  group.
