I need a support group in Toledo, OH

I just found out from another of Dr. Lane's VSG'ers that they do have a support group at UT Med.. I'll find out more from Amy/Dr. Lane on my pre-op visit this Thursday.

Just like Sherrie said we have our support group meetings at the Educational Center on UTMC campus the fourth Tuesday of every month from 7-9 PM.  Amy, Dr. Lanes's SA, holds the meetings.  They are very infomative and we get to speak our minds, share our experiences and generally discuss everything.  Hope this helps you.

Hello Deb,

I go to a support group in Toledo... with Dr. White's patients.  I know they let anyone come, but just ask that you don't compare your programs rules to theirs... ex.. our program says to pop ever. 

They are held on the first wednesday of the month from 6pm-8pm.  At the promedica office building on woodley ave, just off sylvania.  If you are interested just let me know and I will get the phone number for you to the coordinator.

I will contact Dr White's office for their support group.. thanks for getting back to me..
I am scheduled for my presurgery clearance on
June 2 at 3:30 pm with Dr Brian Lane for my VSG.
This is a big deal for me. I am really looking forward to be free of hunger getting in the way of my weight loss goals.

I would love to attend a support group meeting. I just attended the seminar of Dr. Lane's at UTMC and I was wonderful. I have choose the VSG as I think that will give me the most benefit. I would also like to speak privatly with some one who has had this done already.

I just had a seminar at Hilton for Dr. Lane and I am very interested in hearing peoples feed back about there experience and what to expect good and bad! I have a friend who is doing this with me and we both would love to come to a support group, we live south of toledo but any support or info we can get we would love!
