Any Suppoprt Groups in Portage County Area?

Hi all!  I have really been looking for support groups in Portage County area.  I live in Mantua and am in need of a support group.  I know a group was trying to get together but it seems to have fizzled.  Please let me know if there are any at all. 

I live in ravenna ,,,and have not found anything around here...the only one I could find was in Cyahoga Falls...close to akron...about 30 minute drive from Ravenna...If you want info let me know...
But if you find anything closer...also let me know

This is the information about the support group...

I live in the Falls and am currently pre-op (surgery date 8/4) but I would love to check out the support group next month.  I believe support from others that have had WLS is going to be extremely helpful.  Do you think its okay to attend before surgery?  I am going to my first one at Summa tomorrow.

There is a good support group that meets at Summa Akron City. I just posted the invite for our upcoming meeting. It has been growing steadily. Right now there are  about 50-60 people in attendance at each meeting. They always have interesting speakers. We are having a picnic this summer. Hope to see you there. I live in Portage County too. I live in Brimfield Township outside of Kent.
