I live about 20 minutes East of Cols.

I am in the Brice area of Columbus had surgery the 14th at barix clinic in Groveport

I am in New Albany and have my pre-op visit Monday at OSU.

I am doing great getting a little tired of full liquids but this to shall pass in about week 5/5 is the day for pureed food  they have me going back to work on the 26th but my appt with Dr.C is the 27th so I will stay out until the 28th no problem for me.. everything is great the pounds just keep melting off .  When was your surgery or is your surgery and what kind I had a lap RNY.

I am a little confused.

You have an appt. with Dr. C ?  As in Dr. Curry?   I thought you had your surgery
in Groveport??? 

Anyway, I have not yet had my surgery.  Still jumping through hoops for my insurance
company.

I hope to have my surgery this summer.

It is a beautiful day today. I am going to get oustide and enjoy it.

My surgeon was Dr Custer at Barix in Groveport.. Where are you getting yours done????  I really liked the care I received at the clinic.. they treat you like family and they know what they are doing for sure....

i am kat and i live in Dublin area. had my surgery back on 12/16/08 and just hit my 66 pound loss this morning!. Good luck with your hoop hopping with the insurance. and with Your entire journey. it is exciting for sure.

Hi out there to my other Columbus lapband friends. We have an informal group that meets at the Polaris mall and the next get together is this Saturday May 9 2-4pm in the Food Court area in the corner by Chik-Fil-A and Great Indoors. Ask for Heather and tell her you heard about it from SpecialK online. I'll be in Florida on vacation this meeting but we help encourage anyone from Riverside, Mt. Carmel, Barix, and OSU programs, primarily lapbanders but a few RNY spouses of lapbanders have visited with us too.
