Ben-Meir Question

For all of you who have had Dr Ben-Meir...

I was wondering what type of RNY does he perform? Does anyone know how long a common channel he usually creates?

I can't say that I ever thought to ask him that question!  I can only say that I am 150% pleased with my surgery, recovery and follow-up care.  I would recommend Dr. Ben-Meir to anyone!  Good luck with your journey!

Ditto on what the last poster said he is wonderful and the staff who works with him is absolutely wonderful also. The pain I had after my surgery was very minimal. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Good luck and hope to see you on the losers bench.

I know you posted this awhile ago so you may already have the answers you were looking for. I had Dr Ben-Meir and loved him. He is very compassionate, thorough and extremely cautious in the care of his patients. His staff was wonderful and has always responded to questions and concerns in a timely manner. As for the common channel-100 cm was what he had told me. Surgery for me was a breeze. Pain was well controlled in the hospital and off all pain meds within 5 days of surgery. I have felt great and had no complications.
