Tony H Surgery News!!

Just got off the phone and Tony is definitely in his room now and he is a little uncomfortable and groggy.  He was hoping for lapro but had to be cut open (not sure exactly why yet, but Dr Rita previously said it was a possibility due to his height).

He actually got on the phone with me and surprisingly sounded very coherent and happy. 

Going to visit him tomorrow afternoon and will post more details tomorrow when I get back home!

 Thanks!! I went for the lap too but she got  the 3rd. hole and ended up having to open me up. I didn't care. I was just glad I was there finally!! lol

Sorry he had to go open, but as you and I both know, it's definiuetly not the end of the world!  At least I know he'll definitely still be there tomorrow after my checkup with Dr Rita, so I'll see him around lunchtime.

Thanks for the update.  If you see this message before about 10am tomorrow, can you e-mail me his room number and save me a trip to the info desk...?

Judy and I are going to be there around 1 so we might run into you.  I wrote his room # down but left it at work.  I will send it to you in the morning.  How are you doing btw?

I'm better.  My "crater" is finally starting to form some new tissue (although I"m going to ask Dr Rita to look at it tomorrow just as a second opinion) and is less deep than it was.  I'm still not standing and walking quite straight, but it is much better than it was.  He definitely made me tight!!!!
