Does ohio have an insurance...........

Does the state of ohio have an insurance for people who can't afford insurance. My parents are both in their 60s. They both are not working due to health issues. They are living off of unemployment right now. They need insurance but the only insurance they can find is for 1200.00 a month which they can't afford. So is there a state insurance that they could qualify for? Any help would be appreciated

They may qualify for Medicaid in some form.  They will need to contact their county Department of Job & Family Services and apply for benefits.  Approval will depend on their current income and assets but they may also qualify for disability coverage depending on their medical concerns.
