pre- surgery diet

quick question appreciate all feedback

i have to do a 6month diet for my insurance company
my question is for anyone who had to do this as well
i am going to summa for my journey and they offer a program there for the diet
im thinking of just going thru summa for the diet so they will have the records already there

just curious what paths others have went

My surgeon has me seeing a nutritionist from his office for the six month diet so the records are there all ready as well.

It would be easier for you to go through Summa, since they will be the one sending in your paper work to the insurance company.  Like that you won't have to be collecting medical records from everyone in town.

I took the LEARN program through Bucyrus Hospital and was going through OSU at the time.  It was such a mess getting all of my paperwork together.  (that's a whole 'nother story in itself)

Insurance companies give us enough headaches as is, go through Summa.

I just finished my 6 months of dieting on Feb. 3rd at Summa with Dr. Wells. I am now waiting for approval. I was the same way. I wanted to stay with Summa for my dieting because they already have all my test results and everything else. On my last weigh in, Dr. Wells and I went in to see Bev, and got the ball rolling on getting things submitted. I did have one more test before that could happen, but it was scheduled within a couple days and  now I'm waiting. I should hear something by Feb. 24th at the latest!

i did send in my form and i am going thru summa with dr wells for my diet
