Day Three of the hostage crisis....

Almost to school (skated down I-75 which was unplowed and ice-covered) this morning when my super decided we would be closed instead of on a delay!  So I stopped at Panera, got a coffee, and headed back home!  I got there and DH hadn't left yet but when he did, he called about 45 minutes later to say he could still see the Middletown exist sign in his rearview mirror (on his way to Wright-Patt).

Hope you all are warm, dry, and indoors!  Since the driveway is cleared (my exercising the last two days has been shoveling, I guess I get out Damn-it the stability ball and do my workout.

You southerns get a little snow and you shut down the city :-), this was a walk in the park storm for us. You should move up north here where we put up with this white stuff all winter. I cleaned the drive twice yesterday picked  the wife up from work we went shopping and went for a drive to enjoy the white stuff. This morning after driving my wife to work I went and did PT when I got home cleaned the drive again and then took the snowblower into the back yard to make paths for the dogs so they could get out and play. the snow wasn't  to deep back there only about 2 feet. The dogs and I enjoyed playing on the paths they looked like little race cars running around and around. Becarefull out there and watch out for the idiots who think because they have four wheel drive they drive 65mph on snow and ice just do like I do and blow your horn and wave as you pass them a mile down the road when they are trying to get out of the snow drift they got themselfs into. Have fun enjoy your day off and stay warm.

Attitude is coming right back at you----

I see from your vehicle you're one of those folks I drive by:   in the median, wheels skyward., cell phone and coffee splattered all over, wondering what the heck happened.    If you think 12 inches of snow and an inch of ice is nothing, I don't want to be on the roads with you.  By the way I grew up in northeastern Ohio so give it a rest.

Snow blower...wuss...I shoveled.

You go girl......I know what you mean I liven in Green Bay WI for 2 1/2 years. If the people would learn to drive then it wouldn't be a big deal.  I really hope the kids in Franklin get to go to school on Friday.
