alright guys my seminar is wednesday im getting nervous
any advice would be appreciated

Take someone with you if possible to learn about everything as well.  A notebook to jot a few notes might not be a bad idea either.

yes my sister is going with me and im hoping i remember my notebook i told her not to let me forget with the both of us hopefully one of us will remember it lol

i have so many questions i want to ask i cant think clearly so thats kind of my goal tonight and tomorrow during the day til my appt to write down the questions so i dont have to try to remember them

it doesnt really hit u until this point i was excited before doing the research and finding places even getting the seminar appt set up but now that the time is near its really nerveracking how real its all becoming

How was the seminar? Where are you looking g to have surgery?  I had mine at Summa in Akron. I was originally from Alliance and lived in Louisville for 11 years. So, I am familiar with Minerva. Good luck on your journey.

the seminar was not as bad as i thought it was going to be lol i am going to summa as well dr dan did the seminar he was very nice.

April, Dr. Dan is a nice guy. Dr. Z did my surgery but Dr. Dan does a lot of my fills. Both of them are very much people oriented and work with their patients. You should come to our support group meeting this week. -- Tom

when is the support group meeting?  Where is it held?  How often do u have them?  Do i need to bring anything(notepad, pen etc.)

I posted it in this forum. It is this Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are held monthly. I believe the 2009 schedule is somewhere on the Summa web site. They also have it on handouts at the meeting. It is held in the Summa 55 S. Arch Building basement meeting rooms. That is the first professional building on Adams Street off of Market. Park in the 1st parking deck. Enter the building and take the elevators down to the basement.

This is a good place for people starting their journey to meet others. There are people at all stages attending the meeting. There are usually 30-40 folks there. You can bring a notepad. Often speakers give web sites or other helpful information you might want to note.
