Hopefully everything is going well for you. I had surgury Oct 20th with Dr.Lalor. I am down about 80lbs since then. I am doing well. My only advice to you is that you follow the rules and there wont be any problems. I have done everything that I am suposed and a few things im not suposed to and trust  me I wont be doing the things that I'm not suposed to. Lots and lots of water!!!!  Good Luck on your new journey

WoW thats fantastic! yea hehe i seen him on Monday and he wasnt sure what to say bcuz ive recovered so fast and ive been working out and 17 days after surgery im down 30 pounds! I love how much energy i have! Will you b attending Mondays support group?

Dr. Lalor is great. I love him to death and no unfortunaly I wont be there this monday due to the fact I have to work in the evening. Where do you work out at? I have been very lazy since I went back to work at my second job about going to the gym. But I ahve made a promise to myself that I m going to get back to it.

yes his fantastic! i absolutely love him and his staff! i work out at home i have almost an entire gym in my 2 car garage lol my hubby and best friend buy all the stuff with the intentions of "using" it but they never do lol! i did however have them bring the treadmill in for me seein its a lil to cold to b out there walkin and staring at the garage wall n doors lol! i also am addicted to the wii fit!

OMG i am so happy to find you. I just attended his seminar on sat. the 17 my appy is set for 2-6 to meet with him personally. I am so excited to meet someone who already has had him...How was he and his staff. He will be my 2nd surgical interview. I didn't like the facility at the first one. I like wood county, i had my apendix out there 2 years ago. The hospital staff itself was wonderful minus one nurse. I am frickin scared to death to have this surgery so I want to be comfortable with the DR. and the place. I keep thinking maybe I can lose enough weight befor hand and won't need the surgery, but I have been heavy since I was 14. I have lost tons of weight over the years just never kept it off!! I need a different approach and I think this is it.  I pray that I figure this all out sorry to just blahhh but i just goosh sometimes. I am on myspace also if ur interested

oh my gosh Dr Lalor and his staff are wonderful! They have been nothing but helpful through out my entire experience with the office! Dr Lalor is so funny and always makes me laugh he put my husband and myself at ease at the first seminar that we went to, we spoke one on one with him at the very end of it and he got me in asap bcuz the doctor that use to work in that office left the day of my first appointment and i was goin to have to wait another month or so b4 gettin in for my first consult! I know how u feel about being scared :) but truth be told i was more excited for this one then i was scared come the day of the op! My husband was a reck! but i came out fine and im so full of energy! im a fast healer and i seen Dr Lalor last Monday actually it was my almost 2 wk follow up and he was really pleased with me he told me "YOU know most ppl take 6-8 wks to recover from this surgery... right?!" lol i got home on the saturday MADE myself stay in bed till Monday got up monday morning and jumped on the treadmill!  Im now up to 65 mins on the treadmill a day and an hour and 45 mins on the WiiFit! Everyone is different :) but my wounds healed nicely he did a great job my advice is ask ALL the questions u have in ur head write them down and take em with u! He has one of the best bed side manners i have come across!
