Dr Maguire - has anyone had revision from VBG to DS?

Hello All,

I am going to see Dr. Maguire to have a revision from the VBG to the DS.  I was told that he doesnt do revisions from the RNY except to do a revision to the Distal RNY.  The office told me that he did do that type of revision but now I am worried he doesnt. 

Any input you cnan give me would be great.  I just not sure I can wait till tomorrow morning to find out for sure. 

With any luck your VBG can be taken down and have minimal scar tissue leaving a perfectly good stomach.  If that's the case, he can do a DS like he would on anyone else. 

What did you find out?  I thought he does, but am not sure.

Dr. Maguire does do the revision from the VBG to the DS.

Thanks for the update.  That's good to know.  I wish you the best.  I really like Dr. M.  I think you will, too.  He's kind of quiet, but will take as much time with you as you need.  He will answer any question.
