Hi Dianne,
I live in Sandusky, but work in Bowling Green. Congrats on your progress, you must be feeling totally different already. I had my surgery 3 1/2+ years ago and things continue to go very well for me. You can check out my profile if you like. I just had some reconstructive recently, but have not gotten my profile updated on that yet.

I am in Toledo, and had RNY in April of 08. I am down just over 130#, and have about 40 more to go. Great job on your wt loss so far.... keep up the good work

I had my surgery in BG with Dr. Lane Jan 15, 2008 I'm down 118 pounds. Do you go to the BG support Group since Dr. Laylor did your surgery?

Hi Melissa, Wow, you are almost a year out. You have done very very well. I hope to be where you are in a year from now. I've been to the support group just once. It was a few months ago, before my surgery. I asked a lot of questions. I ended up having an RNY on 11/4/08 and I've lost about 45 lbs. I feel really really good!! My sugar diabetes is GONe, GONE, GONE. Something I am really grateful for. yes, Dr. Lalor did my surgery. He is a supurb surgeon, in my opinion. I hope to go to the next support group, whenever that is. Do you go to them?

VSG on 12/08/08

Hi Dianne

Ilive in Perrysburg and Dr Lane did my surgery on Dec 8th. I'm doing great lost 25 and headed for 30 soon. I had VSG and get full really quick. So far not a thing has made me sick. I feel really lucky. I would like to have a support group in our area, what do you think.

Hi Kathy, It's nice to 'meet' you!! I started out with Dr. Lane, but ended up with Dr Lalor. There is a support group that meets monthly at Wood County Hospital. I'm not sure when the next meeting is scheduled. I'd like to start attending these meetings. I'll let you know when I hear it 's going to be. Thanks for writing and you are doing great!!!

Dianne,

I do go to the support group meetings they are the 4th monday of the month at WCH. It's usually posted on the WCH website and Deb usually sends out emails if she has your email.
I'll go get the date and send you a pm.

Hi Dianne I am Jan (joetta ) and I am about to have my surgery in 9 days, Congrats on your weight loss so far that is GREAT!! I wish you contiuned success and a Happy New Year!!!!

Well I finally have my date it is January 7th 2009, So I will be starting off in the new year with a new me.
