Summa health care centers

yea i understand they are very busy i dont blame them for the phone tag thing and thank you very much for your feedback i would love to hear anything you would like to share i want to learn as much as possible before i really begin, meaning the surgery,

I think from what I hear going with either Dr. C at Akron General or Dr. Dan or Z at Summa are excellent choices. I love the sense of community and the fact that they (all 3 docs) appear to like each other (they were fun at the Walk from Obesity) and learn from each other. Good attitude. But I can speak mainly about my own experience as well as some of my own thoughts as a medical practitioner myself...

You asked about the program fee @ St. Vincent Charity hospital. My surgery was over 2 years ago, but the fee at that time was $250.00. My doc is Aviv Ben-Meir and he is wonderful. Good luck to you,

finally talked to summa today have to wait until my new insurance kicks in before i can do anything so i have to call them back next month

I also have nothing but terrific things to say about the Summa Bariatric Care Center.  Dr. Zografakis performed my surgery and he is absolutely wonderful.  The staff is so caring and prompt on all of my questions and needs.  I would really considering going with Summa.  If you have any questions feel free to leave me a message.

thank you for your reply i have to wait til january to get a consultation with summa my work is changing insurances and i have to wait til it kicks in i did finally talk to them lol.

I also have Dr. Dan. He is wonderful and his staff is so caring. I have just dropped in a couple times, and they have made time to see me. Dr. Dan is awesome, and he truly cares about his patients. I wish you the best!!

I just wanted to let you know that Dr. Dan also did my surgery and I can't say enough good things about him and the entire Summa Bariatric Care Center.  These people will become like family to you.  They honestly care about you as a patient and as a person and are there to answer a question at your beaconing call.   I would totally reccomend going to one of their weight loss seminars at Summa.  Dr. Dan helped me change my life and be able to live a hell of a lot longer than I was going too.  (You would think they paid me for this, hahaha)

i finally got my new insurance cards and talked to shirley at summa i go to a seminar jan 21st
woohoo i cant wait :)
