I had my surgery 11/20 and I weighed in 11/24 and had lost 20 pounds. But nothing since. I am wondering if this is normal, I am scared that the surgery didnt work. Anyone have the same problem? Any suggestions...

It's completely normal.  I don't understand why so many surgeons apparently don't warn patients about this!  You will, at various times, suddenly stop losing (many people talk about your body "adjusting" during these times) and then, just as suddenly, will start losing again.  Don't fret.  Just keep doing what you know you need to be doing as far as walking and fluids and vitamins and PROTEIN and try to be patient.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I  didn't have that happen, but reading the experiences on here, it's not unusual.

You lost a lot of "water weight" the first few days and now your body's storing it up again. It should get steadier eventually, but you may have weeks when you'll lose nothing. I had 2 weeks where I lost 1 pound, 2 pounds, then 7 the third week.

So, hang in there!

I am trying to hang but it is frustrating the worry that I went through this for nothing.

Start trying on some smaller clothes.  It's common during these plateaus that your body continues to change even though the scale stands still.
