How long does molina (medicaid) take to answer?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has Molina or ohio medicaid and gone through wls. and how long it took the insurance company to reply on whether they were going to cover the procedure or not.  Iam worried about the 6 months diet records also...  any info would be great thanks :)

I have Paramount advantage, ohio medicaid. They approved my surgery within 24 hours of turning in all required paperwork. I didnt have 6 month diet but I included a letter stating everything I have tried and weights back as far as I could. They do tell you within 48 business hours for an answer. I was lucky and had mine the next day. Good luck.

Do you know of any groups who meet around the Toledo area?  You aren't far in Wauseon.  I live in Perrysburg and Dr Lane is also my surgeon.  I'm scheduled for VSG Monday, Dec. 8th @ 11:00am.

I really don't know of any. The only one I know is in BG and I can't go that far. So I don't attend any. If you find any in Toledo or NW Ohio I would be very interested. It's hard for me to find a babysitter for me to go that far.
