Metro Health Bariatric Surgeons?
my pcp is a Dr. from Metro Health Medical Center and she referred me to the Metro Health Bariatric department, she indicated that they do a nice job up there. I searched for the drs on this sight and have yet found one, just curious is any one has used any of the drs and what you thought of them.
I'm thinking about asking her to referr me to cleveland clinic just on the sole basis that I read they have 100% Medicaid approval rating on all of the applications they have sent thru for approval.
P.S. my doc had the surgery and she is looking great, kind of jelouse se was able to get it not only 2 years ago and has kept it off, and I'm still struggling to get approved. Darn medicaid.
I have medicaid also (Caresource) I have recently begun the process at the Cleveland Clinic.
As far as I know you do not need a referral.
Look up their website and you will find a phone number to request an application.
Once you fill that out and send it back, you will be scheduled for a seminar and you will be on your way.

I just had lapband surgery and an ex husband that is going to have his RNY surgery and the Cleveland Clinic. My doctor is Stacy Brethauer - one the best doctors I have ever met. knowledgeable. Bedside manner is unbelievable. I started my WL Journey in June and was approved in August had my surgery Oct 10. They also have an open Clinic on Wed if you ever have any issues they move stuff around and get you right in !! No problems at all !!!
