Getting together....

Is there a group of people that meet for lunch or dinners at times from these boards?   I'd like to meet some new people and make new friends....    Just asking  :)   Thanks!  

hi kathy...not sure how far you are from me here in willoughby. i moved here back in june and not sure of all the areas close by me. if you aren't to far i would love to get together with you and others for lunch or dinner if i don't have to work!!

Hi Kathy - there is a group that has been meeting since January of this year, but currently we haven't been able to get everyone back together since June!  But if you watch this forum, you will see it advertised as NE Ohio get together.  There were 2 from Macadonia, 1 from Warren, 1 from Canfield, 1 from Cleveland and me from Tallmadge.  If you go to my site, there are two pictures of the group.   Three of the group were at least one year out and the rest of us had our surgeries more recently.  I know that there are a few more that plan to come when we get a date set again.  Joychick posts often and has planned several of these dates.  This Sunday is when we were trying to get together, but I think it might work out better for Dec.  Hope we can meet! We are so close.

I would love to join the group but would have to be after Dec dont figure I would be up for it that soon after surgery. Keep me posted.
