Medical Mutual of Ohio

Medical Mutual of Ohio approved me today for DS with Dr. Rita Anderson.  I am so happy!  Was nervous thinking that my WW history would not "really" count towards the 6-month supervised diet although they said it would.  Medical Mutual has been wonderful to work with, quick and honest in what was required.

Congrats Kelly, I have med mutual and I am waiting on the decison, how long did it take you to get your approval once you submitted. I am so happy for you good luck with your surgery and keep me  updated. :)

two weeks, two days :)  plus they needed additional info, so if not for that it probably would have been sooner.

thanks.. They say mine went to the pyhsican advisor today what ever that means I cant get anyone to tell me anything, did you call or get a letter. did you get your surgery sceduled?

My husband  has Medical Mutual - and they have a exclusion clause in their policy - no wls whatsoever is covered - must be different riders to buy to have it included - be glad your employer got one!  Anne
