Plastic Surgery -- I need names & estimates, please!
In preparation for my open enrollment, I'm trying to get some rough estimates for plastic surgery I may need by late next year so that I can put the dollars away in my Flex Health Spending Account.
Can any of you share:
a) Names of plastic surgeons you'd recommend in the Dayton/North Cinti area
b) Any estimates you received for the following: Abdominoplasty/Tummy Tuck, Thigh Lift, Lower Body Lift, Brachioplasty
Thanks in advance! I only have about 2 weeks to gather all this info, so I'm scramblin'!

I had my plastics done in Toledo...a 3 hour drive from me...but the surgeon was SO worth it

I don't have prices for you because I am not to that point yet but i do have a name of a fabulous plastic surgeon at Miami Valley. R. Michael Johnson if you call 208-8000 they will give you his office number. I have seen his work on friends of mine and he is who I plan on having mine with. There is also Dr. Butterfield at Jewish Hospital, she did another firend of mine and she also had great results.

I just had my mons lift and brachioplasty with Dr Martin on Monday. The arms would have been $5500 for just the arms (including the auxilla, anesthesiologist, and facility charge). Adding the mons lift took it up to $7700.
The estimates I got for panni removal with TT in Dayton ranged from $6000 to $12000 (but the $6000 one was just for the surgeon...no hospital fees included)!!! That's why I was so glad to find ONE surgeon who would do the panni removal under insurance.
Dr. Rita recommended Dr Fox, Schmidt, or Johnson, and then Dr Martin in West Chester. I got estimates from all except Fox (he and Schmidt are in the same office).
I'm sure I'll change my mind once the swelling and bruising and pain (!) go down, but right now I'm pretty much regretting having my arms done!
Be sure that you flex spending account considers cosmetic surgery a qualifying expense (get it in WRITING!)... I have read from a number of people that theirs did not and they had trouble being able to use the money for other medical expenses before the "lose it" date.

I had adominalplasty lipo of hips & mons lift little over a year ago. I absolutely love my PS Jennifer Butterfield, she is klnd, very informative and wonderful after care. I needed to stay in the hospital for three nights as I had a small problem with my left lung. The surgery was 6 hours and I did not react well to being asleep for that long.
I had a chest x-ray. I did not have to pay any extra for the additional time in the hospital or chest xray. She carries insurance to cover any complications. There is no one nicer or better!!!!
The cost was $12,000 but worth every penny!!!!
