Akron Support Group Meeting this Wednesday 09/24/08

Hello Everyone! So sorry I was not at the meeting last month, but believe me, you would not have wanted me there! This month’s Support Group is next Wednesday the 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. In the PODS in Taryn Meyers will be speaking to us about Behavioral Eating. Taryn was a psych extern that worked with many of our Bariatric patients, and also conducted the Healthy Eating Group, now known as the INCH group. Hope to see you all there!

I'm hoping to make it to the support meeting Wednesday night. Even though I haven't had my surgery yet, I'm sure these meetings can help me a lot.

There are always several pre-surgery folks there. It is as good place to meet fellow patients and network. The program is usually somewhat interesting. Brett is in town this month and we are both going. Looking forward to meeting you. -- Tom

Yes I plan on attending too.  I was not able to make the last one.  I am sure it helps.

I can't wait to meet you both..I'm bringing my boyfriend. I feel it's really important for him to be educated with me. He is my biggest supporter.. See you both tomorrow!!
