Don't worry.  I am still pre-op and know exactly what you might be thinking!  My worry is not getting approved.  You are many steps ahead of the game already!!  Just take it one day at a time knowing that there are tons (no pun intended) of people on here that have already gone through it and the overwhelming majority are successful!  You can do it!  Have faith in yourself and the scale with respond.

Don't forget to update us when you get back from the doctor!

You are not alone in your fears... I think all of us have had -- at some point in our post-op journey -- the fear of failing yet again at attempts to lose weight.  Yet, we all manage (however slowly the weight comes off for some) to lose the weight.  (The trick is keeping it off!)

Don't fret, though...  I have never heard of anyone not losing any weight in the first few weeks... it's just sometimes hard to see/feel the weight loss that early.  I'm sure you have lost weight!

Take a deep breath and relax.  You are at the beginning of a journey that will have ups and downs, but most of the "downs" will be in your weight!   I'm sure if you are following your doctor's guidelines, you will be fine.  Let us know how the weigh-in goes.

Kevin,
I am just a little over a month ahead of you. Don't sweat the weight loss. These weeks are about healing and adjusting to the changes in your body. I had spells of loss and then a stall. It is different for everyone. Just keep working on attaining your goal.
