can't reschedule surgery yet

I am now officially freaking out. Dr Martin's office called me to tell me that the surgical hospital still has no power (emergency generators only). He is available to do it next Monday, but there is no guarantee that we can get on the hospital schedule. It feels like my chances of getting this surgery done so I can be back at work on the 29th are slim and none. I just cannot bear the thought of having to live with this nasty extra hanging bulge for another 5-6 months...

My arms I could live with through the winter, but not the other thing... I don't own enough tunic sweaters and girdle-like underwear to keep it even partially hidden...
