referral info on where to get a quick psch exam ?
Hi,
My daughter is trying to get set up for surgery, the VSG with Dr Lane. He has moved from BG to Toledo and is very difficult to reach. He has been out of town for about a week to ten days now. She lives in NW Ohio and we are trying to get this done before she loses her insurance ( which could happen soon) The biggest problem is her insurance now says no pysch exam, but the paper work from Dr Lane , states yes a psych exam. We thought if she could get one and take into her next appt with all her pre-op labs that are completed maybe she could get scheduled for her surgery faster. We are working on a fine time line.
I know there are usually waiting lines to get in to see someone for this and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for Lucas, Wood or Fulton County of a shrink who is supportive of WLS ? Appreciate any ideas ! She has Paramount Advantage Insurance. The closer to Fulton Cty the better. .. but at this point she is not toopicky as the time frame. Thanks so much for any suggestions.I am gonig to email her this so she can watch it after work too. I will try to watch for responses also.

Hi Ginger,
I had my psych eval by the dr below. He does a lot of work with Dr. White in Toledo, who does WLS. Perhaps he can help. It's been awhile since I went to see him, so I don't remember how long the wait was. His office is very close to Westfield Shopping Mall. Hope this helps
