I have turned into such a nag !
I feel like such a nag I have been calling my doctors office, and my surgeons office and my cardio doctor, and my insurance company. I feel like such a nag I know they are tired of hearing me call them everyday (they know who I am before I even say my name). I am waiting on one more lab test to come in so I can submit to insurance. It is driving me crazy I had to wait 2 weeks to get a printout from my doctor for the labs to be done. She was on vacation for 2 weeks and the doctor that was covering for her also just happened to go on vacation too! I am so mad I had to wait 2 weeks for her to come back and now I have to wait for the results which might be there tom. I am done venting now I just feel like such a nag all the time and I know I have to keep on top of them to get things done. It will get better it has too or I just might blow up!
NEVER feel like a nag, regardless of what information you are looking for. You pay them (or any other service provider) and when information is requested, it should be given in a prompt and professional manner. Specifically, if they are a bariatric group, they should be well aware of the emotions and excitement experienced by the patient. Besides, the squeeky wheel always gets oiled fastest. Think about those that aren't calling daily!
I am going to Dayton at Miami Valley hospital Premiere bariatrics. I am seeing Dr. Teel and he and Dr. Maquire are both great. I am just soooooo mad at my regular doctors office I am waiting on lab results. Well I had them done on Weds., and the lab sent one result on Thurs., and one on Fri. the one they sent 2 times on Fri. thanks to me THEY DIDNT GET YET. I called and had it faxed 2 times and they still havent faxed it to Dr. Teels office ( they have to have it but didnt answer when I called on Friday ). I feel like I want to cry I am so close and everytime I think I am there my doctors office does something to screw it up. First she went on vacation for 2 weeks. I called to see if she had anyone covering for her well they said no. I call back 2 days later talk to someone else who says that yes she does. So I asked if he could order my labs to be done she said sure I will talk to him today and let you know tomorrow. So I was fine with that nobody called me so I called them and they say oh I am sorry but he went on vacation too. So needless to say I had to wait 2 weeks to have the labs done. Well now I am still waiting and its still there fault. Her office staff is nice but lost really they know nothing. I am so excited because I am so close but I feel like it will never happen. In the mean time I didnt have diabetes yet but I am having certain signs of it lately it runs very strong in my family, and I was prediabetic with my last 2 children. I pray every night that the lord will let me make it through another day. I guess I will be making more calls on Monday and I hope I will be done and submitted to my insurance. Jennifer (the insurance lady) is awesome she has put up with me alot and she is always great about it. I am so glad at least the surgeons office knows what they are doing.
