New Look

Hi Ladies (especially those from the Macadonia Winking Lizard group), didn't know if you were on the Main RNY board, but I changed my avatar.  Got my hair cut short, first time in about 20 years, so it is a strange feeling.  But the hair loss was getting to me and everyone said it would be less noticable in my comb, so I did it.  One of my pastors told me last week thar it was getting to the point of not knowing who I was.  Then today a friend of ours who hasn't been to church for about a month due to chemo, commented after I gave him a big hug and kiss that he did not recognize me until I walked away!  I was thrilled with all the comments from family and friends, because I was not sure that I would feel comfortable with short hair.  But I love the way it makes me feel, a bit more confident with my melting body!

I am so happy for you, soak in all the good stuff!! Nothing like it...

Thanks Michelle! This past two weeks since I got it cut - I have had so many people tell me that they don't recognize me at first.  Some of seen me on a daily basis, but all of a sudden it's like WOW!!!!
