Hi Dr. Curry, I spoke with you via e-mail a little over a year ago. I was a self-pay lapband patient and went to Dr. Fegelman because I had a limited amount of funds for the surgery. My surgery was May 17, 2007 and I am down about 80 lbs. I'd like to lose 20-30 lbs more. I have heard so much about you over the years and have sent several people to you when asked who to use. I have not referrred anybody to Dr. F only because the buzz about you is so good. My question is...do you take patients like me for fills? I have nothing against Dr. Fegelman other than he seems not interested in his patients. He seems very distracted and the office visits are quite zippy; in and out in a heart beat!  Frankly, I am jealous of your patients-they all seem so very happy with your care. I pay $50 for a fill and have a "Super Band". I did have a problem about a month after the surgery where the tube/catheter  popped out of my incision in a big loop. Very strange but the recision surgery worked fine. I do not believe it was the fault of Dr. Fegelman. I think it was just one of those things that happen occasionally, although it seems a lot of "those things" happen to me every day :) Well, I just thought I'd ask as it has been on my mind for many months to check with you regarding this issue.
