in need of words of encouragement

My dear hubby had surgery yesterday...he could really use some words of encouragement.  username:  gomab43224    Thanks to all of you who leave him a post. God bless! 

I am sending my best wishes to both of you. I hope he is doing well.   I understand the need for encouragement, as this journey is not easy.  I am scheduled for 5/29 by Lap bypass, and I am  seeking good health.   I am sure the journey will be extremely challenging for all of us and rewards of good health worth it.. Keep your eyes on the prize! One day at a time!

Hi!!  I had my RNY in Sept 2007.  I did have complications,but am so glad I had the surgery.  I have lost 108 pounds so far.  It is well worth it.  He will have some trying times, but he can do it..  Everyone is right when they say one day at a time.  Make sure he has a picture of himself now and a list nearby about why he wanted the surgery and what his dreams/goals are.  He will have fun seeing the difference and checking off his goals.
