Hello Gang!! I just wanted to stop in and tell everyone Hi!! My life is so crazy now! As many of you know we have 5 kids from 4-9. They keep me so busy! Right now we are on 3 soccer teams, and 3 baseball teams!! (Soccer is winding down, and Baseball just started)   I coached a soccer team, and I am coaching my girls T Ball team!!!

I submitted to my insurance and found out we left one test out! I will get my results from it this week, and I will be able to send that in, then I will be waiting another 2-3 weeks!!  Waiting sucks big time!

The other night after Tball, I made a comment to a mother that her and her EX was doing a wonderful job for their daughter. They are both always at practice, they are wonderful. It is amazing; I know we could never get along with the ex’s like they do!! She said that they got along great, and the only reason they broke up was he did not find her attractive. I said aww. She said no don’t aww about it. I weighed 430 lbs. I had gastric bypass to save my life, and he decided I was to skinny! I go ol my goodness you had the surgery. I went on to tell her my story! She weighs like 190-200 she said!! That is awesome, 230 lbs gone and kept off since 2004!!!  We talked for like an hour!! It makes me feel great to have some one here around me to talk to about it!!!!

I hope everyone else is doing great!! I have not forgotten about you, just extremely busy! I will not be home one night this week!!!

Yea, the waiting is really hard.  I had to do a 3-month "multidisciplinary" diet, etc. for my insurance (glad it wasn't 6 months!), and that seemed to drag on forever.  Fortunately, once that was done, my insurance approved my surgery very quickly. Now I'm sort of playing the waiting game again waiting to see if the insurance will approve the panni removal as medically necessary.  It's hard to want something SO much and have the decision and timing be out of your hands, isn't it? You're busy enough, though, with the kids that I'm sure the time will fly by! Lora

14 years out; 190 pounds lost, 165 pound loss maintained

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
