New to forums, recent gastric bypass 4/16/2008

Hello everyone, just wanted to say Hi.  I am new to chatting in forums, so don't really know what all to do yet.  I just had my gastric bypass surgery this past Wednesday (yeah!!!).  I am just looking to hear from people going thru the same things, and hear what others have to say.  Hope I can also help anyone out there looking into having the surgery also.  Thanks.  Caroline

who was your surgeon?

My surgeon was Dr. Michael Nowak.

I used Dr. Patrick White in Sylvania Ohio

There are some truly amazing people on here!! They will always answer questions! There is also a RNY group and it is MUCH more active then this group!

Hi Caroline, welcome,  I just had my lap band placed Tuesday.  Struggling with find the right foods to eat that taste decent and agree with me.  It is getting better.   Everyone here is very nice.  There are also other forums, for different ages (LOL, over 50 for me), and all the different types of surgery.  I can practically stay on here all day talking to all the different groups. Hope everything went ok with your surgery.  Enjoy your ride!
