Does anyone have any personal experience with any of the rehab facilities that specialize in the needs of the morbidly obese?  Whether you were a patient, knew a patient or are familiar with the environment, all input is appreciated.  The specific facilities that I am inquiring about are:

Andover Village Retirement Community - Andover, OH
Windsor Lane Health Care Center - Gibsonburg, OH

Thanks in advance!
Weight at Surgery (7/6/07) - 410
Weight at Start of Pregnancy (3/08) - 268

Andover is positively wonderful. It is a very small town and the employees have a small town mentality and friendliness. They have an ER attached as well, which is wonderful for the super obese patients. Not to mention they are able to handle serious medical issues. Windsor Lane is not quite equipped to handle many medical issues and certain things will exclude a person right away. Wonderful place, just not quite as medically equipped. I reviewed both for a friend and Andover was selected. Got him in right away. He had just come out of nearly a two month coma and was on his death bed. He did quite well at Andover and loved it. Unfortunately he left, but had nothing to do with Andover or his success there. You can call and they will take you on a tour if you wish. Best of luck!! ~ Terisa
