Well that's great! SO where do you meet? Or is there a phone number?

It meets at 500 Thomas Lane which is a Medical building across the street from the green parking garage at Riverside Methodist Hospital. The meetings are held in room H & I they start at 5:30 for RNY patients and at 6:30 for Lapband patients. i hope that is helpful.

Beverly, Sounds Super! Is there a meeting time for VSG'ers?

Unfortunately no, but I went to the RNY meeting last month and it was informative. Actually Dr. Tell is the facilatator and they will be having a plastic surgeon from this area in during the next meeting or 2 I believe to discuss issues surrounding the weight loss and skin concerns. I was really surprised at how many people were there. I will say the VSG seems to be a much newer procedure ( I had one) but I think I was my surgeon's third and I Am pretty sure I know his 4th one, it isn't done as often here. Maybe we can see if there is a need and try to petition or facilitate our own VSG support meeting. 

I am sure it will catch on in Ohio. Sometimes things just take awhile to trickle into the midwest.

I'll be having my surgery April 15th in Cincinnati with Dr. Curry.  Their support group meetings are the 1st Saturday of the month, which I will probably be able to attend some of the time but not all.  My daughter is having her surgery at Mt. Carmel and they have a support group meeting also.  Oh gosh, I don't remember when though.  Anyway it is held in an auditorium and there are a lot of people who attend, so I'll be going with her.  She said they don't know who's there and who isn't.  You could probably go there.
